The beginning of the company Nest
Nest Labs, co-founded by Tony Fadel and Matt Rogers in 2010 and two former engineers at Apple, the flagship product is “Learn Thermostat”. Nest Company started the product in 2011, the next product from Nest Company was the share of smoke detector and carbon monoxide in October 2013, after its acquisition of Drop Cam in 2014, the company introduced its security camera Nest Cam starting in June 2015 and then the company quickly expanded through 130 employees by the end of 2012.
NEST joins Google
It was named Google Nest after it joined directly to Google for 3.2 billion US dollars, when the number of Nest company was 280 after the reconfiguration of Google and being affiliated with the firm, it became independent of Google, from 2015 to 2018, then in 2018 it became Nest Company to become a subsidiary of Google home.
May 2019, all Google e-products have been announced for marketing under the Google Nest brand.
To become one of Google products, for example, the Google medium headset that you can talk to and control home devices in addition to the Google Home program.
